ESSAYS...
Avoid nothing, whatever desire you follow do so totally.
You have the power to create anything that you wish. Once you have created your
desire to the point of saturation the object of your desire will manifest
everywhere to the point of normality and will no longer hold the fascination
that it did previously and will therefore no longer distract you.
The senses at this point will naturally turn inwards to the source and will
fall back to rest in the desireless state which will then be realised to hold
the total fulfillment that was sought in the object. The object is a product of
the inner state, it is but a projection of its creator, a tiny portion of what
awaits in the Divine state. The happiness found in the object is fleeting at
best and will most definately carry in it the opposite of the happiness that is
one half of the creation. The joy of resting as the inner state is permanent,
beyond time, it is eternal.
When one can come to rest in the stillness of Being whilst in the midst of
one's previously strongest attraction where is there left for one to go where
the joy can be lost? Whatever one chooses to do, abstain from following desires
or attaining their fulfillment, one thing is to be realised and that is that
whatever one does one must do it 100%, totally!
Doing either, or both, half heartedly will not bring one to the realisation of
the Truth that One's Self is the creator of all that appears and that it alone
therefore can bring the satifaction which one mistakenly believes is in the
object.
Standing in Awareness One sees that all is just a dream arising from the
reality of One's Self.
When we are together in physical form with another Love is shared.
When we are in Love with another we are IN this Love in the same way that fish
are IN water. The water is the Truth, the Life, the Love, of these forms. It is
Love which creates the object that we imagine our Self to be and it also
creates the "other" so that it can experience it's Self IN and THROUGH both
objects.
When we love another it is not really their body which the Love is being given
to, it is not really the body that this Love is being shared with.
When we Love another it is not really their personality, which is only a
fraction of their mind, that we Love for both the body and the mind are in a
constant state of change, they are impermanent. As Love is the only thing which
is permanent in the whole of this manifest appearance all else is a product
arising from it. All else has a temporary existence within it and dissolves
again back into this which is Love. Love is the continuum in which everything
has existence and it's non-existence, it itself being neither of these. Love,
in Truth, is what is communicating from within our-selves and what is being
communicated with in the "other", all relationship is Love outwardly
communicating with itself through forms which are created from it's own Being.
When we Love another it is Love itself doing this loving and as everything that
appears in manifestation is only Love, in it's billions of various disguises,
there is only ever Love present in each and every moment.
That which we love in the "other", who is of course only an attribute of this
Love which we all are, is therefore our Self. Whether or not the object of our
Love appears in the outer circumstances of our Life makes no difference
whatsoever for this Love to be present, for it is the Presence itself in which
all appears.
Love Is and it IS what we are. Love needs no object in order to BE and in order
to finally know it's Self. The one whom you Love is created from this Love
which is the Truth of you and appears as the "other" in the same way as your
own body/mind does for a period of time in space and then it again dissolves
back into this ever-present Love which you are. You are both the permanent
background of Love AND the Love when it is in motion appearing as the outer
manifestation. This Love is the Truth of you , it is always , already what you
are under all the circumstances of Life.
Those whom we have met were created by us and those who appear in our Life
presently are being created by us, by the Truth of us and not by the one who we
imagine our-self to be. We presently create them and sustain them as an object
for a time and then they return to the source of our Self where they are One
with us. They are in Truth forever with us, they are our Self, they ARE the
Love in which we are making a brief appearance in time and space in order that
we have the opportunity, which we have given our-Self in the act of creating
them, to experience This which is the Truth of each and everyone of us. I
create in order to realise who or what I am and this can only take place when I
have manifest form in which I can create experiences which will in time bring
me to see that I am the source of all that exists. Once this is known whether
or not the conditional existence continues to appear is irrelevant for I am
aware of who I am and the manifest reality has served its purpose. No matter
how much joy , love and beauty is found in the attributes they pale in
significance compared to the joy of being knowingly One with their source.
If what is stated here is allowed to enter into the fullness of realisation
without being resisted and held in an egoic concept, which is the image that we
have of our Self and not the Truth of what we are, then we will know on both an
intellectual level and intuitively that what has been said here is true. The
knowing of this is the Being of it and we again experience the fullness of that
which we share as love with another, We will be Love loving it's Self,
directly. We will be rested IN and AS this Love, which in Truth we always,
already are.
There is nothing in this manifest reality that can give utimate satisfaction,
nothing can fulfill the promise of final, permanent joy that we fool ourselves
into believing can be had upon possesion of the desired object All things that
appear are in a constant state of change and what happiness one can derive from
an object will most definately also be accompanied by its opposite, sorrow.
No one has ever found permanent satisfaction in outer things and no one ever
will, no matter how hard we try all that the object has to offer at best is our
own projection. Not only is this true of physical things it is also true
psychologically in that even our most deepest ideas and concepts and beliefs
cannot deliver the goods when they are concluded. No conclusion finally brings
a satisfaction which is complete and permanent.
All that we have been taught, since we were old enough to learn, is the lie
that happiness is achieved through the possesion of outer things, sadly this is
not the case and all too often so few realise this and spend their whole Life
seeking the right combination of objects to bring about the final result of
total satisfaction that they seek.
Once this fact is grasped the attention turns about from the outer realm to the
inner realm but this realm too will prove to be of no satisfaction for as we
seek and find and achieve the things of the psychic realm we find that they too
are just objects allbeit of a different kind and they too do not bring about
total satisfaction. We become disillusioned, at this point all energy which has
until now gone into the searching process comes to rest and stillness is
revealed and realised to be the prior condition of all objects and is seen to
be One's Self.
Knowing this to be the case one can continue to plan and aim for the things in
the world but the belief that they will bring joy and satisfaction is no longer
present and the outcome of all that takes place in the future is accepted with
an easy detatched attitude. When the object is seen to arise with the desire
then one sees that it is one's Self that is the producer of the manifest
reality and this is immediately wholly embraced as in that one becomes totally
identified with all that appears in manifestation, no longer is the identity
confined to the body only and the Whole is seen and known to be One's own Being.
One of the biggest and best holding places of the ego concept, one of the places that it constantly reinforces itself is in guilt. Guilt has been portrayed as a sort of indication of goodness, a bit like conscience but in fact it is in actuality a negative and not a positive aspect of human expression.
As long as guilt is present then the ego's logic is that there MUST be someone whom it is present to, some central figure within the body, a me. In this way the holding of guilt to be true reinforces the sense of separation.
It has been stated for thousands of years by sages and seers that there is no doer within the body and that all action is just action, a movement of energy passing through the universe which, as it passes through the human form, causes action. This now is the present understanding in science which is being constantly revealed and recognized in quantum physics, which is the leading edge of modern day science.
There is no actor, only action happening. This therefore can only mean that every action, including the action that we call thought and sensation, which is how we define the mind, are all impersonal movements of energy. Everything therefore that has occurred through each human form since the moment of conception is done by the universe, there is no personal action that arises from a central figure within the body. This 'me' ,which claims to be the instigator and doer of action, does not actually exist as anything other than another action of the mind, an IMPERSONAL action.
If therefore there is no personal doer within the body and all action is a result of universal movement then there is no place for guilt, as there is no 'me' who ever did anything to be guilty about. Such things as guilt and pride, shame and blame all disappear when this is understood to be the case. All is the action of the universe.
One of the refusals to accept this as a fact is that there seems to be the idea that one would automatically become some sort of Jeckle and Hyde character if this was recognized to be true, yet this is totally unfounded from this point of view as one will only continue to act in the way that the universe does so through a particular body/mind, as has always been the case. A loving character will still continue to be loving when it is seen that the loving action is seen to be the universal action flowing through that particular body. The presence or absence of the person concept is not in any way a deciding factor of how an action will be performed.
Society has been making laws and rules and reinforcing them with punishment since man came into existence and it has not in any way prevented such negative actions as war, murder, rape etc and at the same time these regulations have not been needed for loving people to continue to be loving. In this it can be seen that there is always negative and positive response and reaction regardless of our concept of what is right and wrong, these ways of seeing and judging action have in no way prevented or encouraged particular actions. Man has continued to be either positive or negative regardless.
All action began with the beginning of time, with the first stirring in the Emptiness prior to any person existing and this action has continued to unfold ever since, creating the illusion of time and space and all that exists within it. The universe is One movement of energy, One action, there is no individual that does anything, all movement therefore is impersonal. All action is just action and belongs to no one, the some one itself being just an action in consciousness. Any action that is judged negative appears in comparison with its opposite, positive action. They are actually a harmony as represented in the symbol of the ying/yang, both are aspects of that from which they have arisen. The male and female arise together, the one naturally created with the other out of the asexual Emptiness which is their source. This asexual One is Awareness itSelf which is the observer. The one without the other is an impossibility for they are created in consciousness, when one comes into play the other arises with it spontaneously. When one comes to rest in the recognition that there is no personal action, hence no person, then all is seen from a global way of seeing and these apparent opposites are seen for what they actually are, partners in the dance of Life, without which nothing that appears would exist objectively.
Guilt therefore along with pride etc are all dependant upon this sense of being someone or something within the body who is somehow independent of the rest of the universe. The stupidity of this concept can be seen immediately as there is nothing that appears as an apparent individual that is separate from the All, each of these forms being affected by the moon and sun, the food that is imbibed, the information fed into the mind etc.
The Truth is that EVERY apparent separate object that appears within the whole universe is responsible for each and every action that takes places through and within each and every other object. The universe is an impersonal action happening and there is no one doing it. Where in this can guilt be supported except as a concept resulting from misidentification, the 'me' concept. Once One knows One's Self to be the Empty Awareness within which all is happening guilt has no longer any hold and its control is released into free action, spontaneous action, simply impersonal universal action happening.
You are not responsible for anything that has arisen and appeared as action because there is no you.

Be Total
"Know only that the unknown awaits you in each moment, always expect the
unexpected".
Love needs no object.
"What you see in the other you are seeing within your Self
for they are your mirror.
When you see them as being totally perfect just as they are
you are face to face with your own perfection
then there are not two, there is only ONE"
Object and desire
The question of free will is always a touchy one and a difficult one to see clearly because of the fear underlying the recognition that one is not in control.
From the point of view of being an individual person there is no choice or decision, this one does not create thoughts by choice or decision, they simply arise and then they are in most cases claimed by the ego concept which is itself just another thought.
Where the ego concept has dissolved through understanding leading to recognition thoughts are simply seen arising, they belong to no one, they are simply actions (energy) appearing within the non-active Awareness. As this Awareness, which is what you actually are, you are the creator of all energy but even in this there is no choice or decision for what arises out of the Emptiness of Being does so without prior plan, it simply appears and is noticed by the Awareness itSelf, spontaneous action.
That we appear to think thoughts is true but none of us know how we think thoughts, how thoughts are produced, we only know that thoughts are present and that what we are witnesses them. When the attention is taken off the thought or sensation that is known as the mind and placed upon the Awareness that is the seer or witnesser (observer) of them then this attention is a direct experience (hence a non-experience). It is Awareness itSelf being aware of itSelf, perception perceiving itself as the perceiver. Apperception.
The concept that one is somehow separate from the universe, an individual ego, gives rise to the idea that one can somehow produce thoughts and sensations that lead to making choices and decisions that are other than the flow of the way universal energy is moving. EVERY action is already in play, in fact has been played out by the time the mind records it so the apparent decision or choice is already in play and has already been "chosen" or "decided" prior to the mind recognizing its appearance. The ego concept (another appearing thought) then steps in and claims the content of the mind for itself as its own creation hence giving the impression of someone or somebody being the chooser or decider of the thought that may or may not inspire action through the body/mind.
All that is happening is taking place in the eternal moment and therefore all that was to be, is now, and is to be is already unfolding in the way that it is doing. As the universe is UNI (one) VERSE (movement) then all that appears to be separate is actually One happening. When one goes beyond the fractional viewpoint, by stepping out of the ego concept, one's seeing becomes global seeing and what is seen is that all is happening exactly the way it is supposed to, the only way that it can.
Within this there are body/minds where energy unfolds in such a way that it gives rise to fractional seeing, giving the belief that the body/minds are somehow the creator of the thoughts and feelings that arise as mind and hence believe that there is free will. This same universal energy unfolds as those body/minds where it has manifest in such a way that the understanding has taken place that there is no one within (no central figure) and the idea that there is someone within is therefore no longer present. Through these latter forms there is no longer the illusion of being the thinker or actor, there is seen to be thinking and acting arising as an appearance of energy within Awareness. This appearing energy is the activity of the non-active Awareness from which it is arising. There is no actual person (individual entity) within this, all is the impersonal unfolding of universal energy, so therefore the question whether one is responsible is irrelevant as it is based upon a case of mistaken identity. There is no ONE within the body/mind that does anything, there is only the unfolding of energy. So if there is no one ACTUALLY present within the form where can there be an issue about whether that someone that does not exist, except as a misconception, have the power to go against the flow of energy unfolding throughout the universe and make decisions and choices contrary to what is happening.
The answer as always to these questions is to see WHO, or rather WHAT, they appear to as once this is recognized the answer is seen within the context of the Whole and understanding takes place.

There is a great difference between hearing and listening. There is the tendency to imagine that one has understood because one has heard what is being shared previously and it therefore appears as repetition and boredom, the already known. This reaction comes from a mind that imagines that it has heard, truly heard, truly understood, but in fact this mind has ONLY heard, it has not listened, it has not become listening itself. It has not come to rest IN the listening. It has not come to rest in its source.
If boredom is present it is because one is referring to what is being shared as what has already been shared, it is reference to the already heard, and what is imagined to be already known. In listening there is no waiting for something to be heard, there is only hearing as what is heard arises in the listening, there is only BEING the listening. This is attention, Awareness.
True attention is not of the mind, it is not concentration, which is an action of the mind that causes tension. Concentration is with intent, it is intention, which is IN-tension (IN-ttention), it is NOT attention, it is the opposite of relaxation which is a quality of the Source, of Awareness. True attention is open, waiting without waiting for anything, timeless, and one becomes the open-ness itself in this attention. The mind relaxes and comes to rest as no-mind, open-ness.
Satsang points always to Truth and Truth cannot be known, it can never be put into the confines of the mind, of the imagined known. True knowing listens and hears the same words shared many, many times and never experiences them as boring because it knows what they point to and knows it to be ever new, ever fresh. True understanding comes to rest in the place where the sharing is arising from, it rests AS the Source, AS the One that shares, as the questioner and the one who answers. This is the purpose of satsang, to be open to what is shared to such a degree that one comes to rest AS that which gives rise to the exchange of words, the sharing itself. Here there is nothing new, nothing old, here is pure potential, what has always been and always will be.
To hear is to remain in a dualistic role of the hearer and what is heard, as the hearer one remains separate. There is in Truth only hearing which happens in the listening. To listen is to become the listening, to allow the satsang to bring one to the place of BEING the listening and when this takes place what is recognized is that one IS the speaker, the words spoken ARE one’s own words arising through the previously imagined “other”. All is arising from the listening and one is identical with this.
Satsang has done its work, it has hit the mark, satsang is taking place, satsang is HAPPENING.
Welcome to satsang.

Finally through the repetitive hearing of the words that have arisen from the Source understanding takes place, it is seen that there is no-one. There is no body within the body, there is only the body and the energy that is known as mind which are inseparable.
The problem all along was one of identification, all suffering was and is based upon this imagined identity. At no point in all those moments of the contraction of radiance that is known as "ME" was this one truly observed, truly questioned, and when it finally was sought it was found to be lacking, a total fabrication, a play of mind and no more.
There is no one to get free, there is nothing to be free of, there is only the recognition that there is always only freedom.
There is always only this pure Awareness which gives rise, through the movement of its own action as seeking, all that appears, and it is this One that experiences its own actions as the manifest universe, all is this One. There is therefore only One, all is the Self, all is YOUR Self. Everything that exists has its origin in you, in "I", and all that exists does so NOW, there is only this, there is only NOW.
Once freedom is seen all is the flow and swirl of energy arising out of and appearing within one-Self and all along this that is its untouched origin, the Source, is the sole experiencer of this endless kaleidoscopic experience arising from the pure Emptiness that is One's own Being.
You are not a part of anything, you are the whole of it, all is you, here is no other. In your ignorance of what you have always been you have been trying to conclude what you are and trying to fit yourself into these conclusions but because you are NOT a concept these clothes that you weaved for yourself, in your attempt to imagine what you are, never quite fitted and were always finally found to be restrictive and did not allow free movement to your Being. How could this which is the observer of a conclusion be a conclusion?
You are the perceiver of what is concluded and as the perceiver you cannot be perceived, you cannot be found as a conclusion, you therefore can never become a concept. The perceiver cannot perceive its Self. This leaves you only as you always have been, the empty perceiver.
There is nothing new added to your experience as what you are has been present throughout all experiences but was continually overlooked in the effort to arrive at a conclusion, an experience. You always, already are what you are, you are the Truth, nothing was ever lacking.
All that was necessary was this simple turning about of consciousness upon itself, this recognition of what IS. What you imagine yourself to be is NOT what you are, what you can never imagine is what you are and this One just IS. There is no necessity to imagine what IS. Whenever an image arises you are always the observer of the object constructed by imagination, which is known as mind. What appears has temporary appearance and is therefore imaginary, an illusion, but this within which it appears and out of which it is manifesting is what you are and this is permanent.
As this is true for all beings all beings are therefore the One Being experiencing it-Self through its many manifestations, which at root are the same One, the perceiver. You are me and I am you. This which is referred to as "I" is therefore identical within us both for it is the same perceiver being referred to in all cases and as the reference itself arises from the Source it is always the Source itself referring to it-Self each time this reference to the "I" takes place. When this is SEEN and known realization has taken place and One no longer lives in the illusion of identification with the body/mind, the manifest, for what never manifests is seen to be what One IS. One is seen to be the Eternal itself beyond the manifestation of time and space, beyond birth, beyond death, Life itself within which all is taking place, Life which is ALWAYS Life, always present, always IS.
The paradox of Truth is that it manifests as all that appears and remains also at the same time the background, the un-manifest, untouched by any appearance or experience thereof. So One is both the ALL and the NOTHING. This is Wholeness, what IS. “I” am this.
